Microsoft Skype for Business – Find a local number

If you’re traveling, click Find a local number in the meeting request to find the numbers available for your current location.

Here’s what you do:
Just click Find a local number for more information to bring up the conference dial-in numbers web page.

Dial-in Conferencing Services in Office 365:
Dial-in conferencing offers the ability for users to dial into a Skype for Business meeting or conference from a phone (Find a local number).

For dial-in conferencing, you set up users to be able to use Microsoft or a third-party audio conferencing provider (ACP) as their dial-in conferencing provider.

To do this, your Office 365 Administrator will Assign Microsoft as the dial-in conferencing provider to a user, or Assign a third party as the dial-in conferencing provider for a user.

For details on dial-in conferencing providers, see Dial-in conferencing help in Office 365, or your Office 365 Administrator.

Do I need to use a PIN (Personal Identification Number) when I call into a meeting?
Most of the time you don’t need a PIN when you call into a Skype for Business meeting with a phone. All you need is the phone number and Conference ID, which you'll find in the meeting invite.

You only need a PIN if:
o   You’re the meeting leader (presenter), and calling from a phone that isn’t connected to your account, such as a personal cell or home phone.
o   You’re an attendee, but the meeting is locked and you need to be identified before joining.
Your PIN is initially assigned to you by your Skype for Business administrator and you might have received a notification email when it was set up. If you didn't receive a notification, or don’t remember your PIN now, contact your Skype for Business or Office 365 Administrator.
